Tomorrow, Tuesday July 13, I’m going on the first site visit since the COVID outbreak. The destination will be northern Finland where FireFox Gold is active .

A lot has happened for FireFox Gold and the story got really interesting lately when the company announced some bonanza grade results from step out drill at the company’s Mustajärvi Gold Project:

1.35 m at 94 g/t Au is the highest grade result to date and the geology shares similarities to Rupert Resources’s impressive Ikkari discovery. Furthermore Quinton Hennigh recently stated that he believes this is a an Epizonal Gold system. Yes, the type of gold system as New Found Gold’s Queensway Project as well as Kirkland Lake’s Fosterville mine. I would argue that the FireFox story is just beginning and the company is one of the biggest land holders in the hottest area in Finland:

Note that FireFox has a lot of ground stretching between Agnico Eagle’s Kittilä mine (which is the largest gold mine in Finland) and Rupert’s Area 1 (where the impressive Ikkari discovery is). The company also has a big patch of land between Aurion Gold’s Risti and Launi discoveries. In other words this is a strategic land position that I don’t think is fully reflected in the Enterprise Value of FireFox. Especially when one accounts for the success at Mustajärvi.

Best Regards,
