Hello Everyone

We have another drilling update out today with results from 17 shallow reconnaissance RC drill holes at the previously untested Mutum target located between the Central gold deposit and the PDM discovery at our Cuiú Cuiú gold project in Brazil.  These are all reconnaissance exploration holes in the purest sense, but we believe that some of these results may be the most significant holes we have drilled in some time, and here are the reasons why;

1.     The NW trending Central gold deposit was the first gold deposit we found at Cuiu Cuiu and we know that it is controlled by a NW trending structure. We also know that Central sits on a NW trending gold-in-soil geochemical anomaly which extends at least 3km to the north-west and includes the PDM gold discovery 2km to the north. The intervening area between the 2 gold deposits has however been abit of a mystery thus far with only low gold values in soils and no clear NW trending magnetic feature evident in the airborne magnetic data

2.     Recent advances in geophysical technology now mean that we can use drone mounted magnetic sensors to fly much closer to the ground than previous airborne magnetic surveys. This means that we can collect much higher quality magnetic data with a greater resolution. A recently completed test survey using a drone mounted magnetic sensor over the area between the Central and PDM gold deposits clearly picks out an obvious NW trending magnetic lineament (structure) linking the Central and PDM gold deposits

3.     Despite the lack of a strong gold-in-soil anomaly the exploration team elected to drill several reconnaissance RC holes in a couple of areas along this structure. At one of those points which is 500m south of PDM and 1.3km NW of Central we have intersected multiple low grade intervals

4.     This is highly significant since, in essence, what we appear to have found is the “missing link” between the Central gold deposit and the PDM gold discovery to the north. Not only do we now know exactly where the structure is linking the two gold deposits, we also now know that it is mineralized

5.     Whilst more drilling is needed along the 1.8km of strike between the two gold deposits, the recent shallow RC drilling indicates that this structure is mineralized which is a massive step forward in our understanding of the Central-PDM trend at Cuiu Cuiu as our exploration efforts focus on expanding the existing resource base which was last updated in September 2022

6.     The Company has now purchased its own in-house drone magnetic system and will fly the entire Cuiu Cuiu district in the coming months. Based on the test survey in the PDM-Central area, we expect that this work will result in major advances in our understanding of the structural controls on the known gold deposits and targets at Cuiu Cuiu, and could lead to further discoveries

7.     As per my previous comments, we are going to keep our foot on the accelerator with the exploration drilling program, in parallel with the construction of the Phase 1 mine at Cuiu Cuiu. We know there is way more gold within the district than the most recent Sept 2022 resource estimate suggests, so expect lots of exploration drill results going forward as well as regular construction progress updates
