n this interview, Mike Rowley, President and CEO of Stillwater Critical Minerals (TSX.V: PGE | OTCQB: PGEZF), joins Mining Network following the 27 August 2026 mineral resource update at Stillwater West in Montana. The new NI 43-101 estimate is the project’s third resource and the first to include Indicated tonnes: 29.4 million tonnes grading 0.38% nickel equivalent, plus 805.1 million tonnes Inferred grading 0.34% NiTEq at a 0.20% cut-off. That inferred tonnage is more than three times the January 2023 estimate. Contained metal in the base-case model includes 3.01 billion pounds of nickel, 1.52 billion pounds of copper, 283 million pounds of cobalt and 7.4 million ounces of platinum, palladium, gold and rhodium. A higher-grade 0.50% NiTEq case reports 83 million tonnes Inferred at 0.71% NiTEq. Four deposits are now modelled across a 10-kilometre core of the 33-kilometre project, immediately adjacent to Sibanye-Stillwater’s producing US PGM operations.
